Date & Time
Choose how dates and times appear everywhere in PixellPeep — the date format, 12- or 24-hour clock, and your timezone. This only changes how things are displayed to you; it never alters when anything actually happened.
Configure
- 1
Open the Date & Time settings page
Everything is on one short page. Each choice updates the live "Preview" at the top so you can see exactly how dates and times will look before saving.
Open Date & Time settings - 2
Pick a date format
Choose the layout you read most comfortably — for example "MMM D, YYYY" (Jan 31, 2026), "DD/MM/YYYY", "MM/DD/YYYY", or "YYYY-MM-DD". The Preview card shows a sample date in the format you select.
- 3
Pick a time format
Choose 12-hour (with AM/PM) or 24-hour. The Preview updates immediately so you can confirm which one you prefer.
- 4
Set your timezone
Select the timezone you work in from the dropdown. Times throughout the app are shown converted to this zone. If you leave it unset, PixellPeep uses the timezone your computer reports.
- 5
Save your preferences
Click "Save preferences". A confirmation appears, and your choices apply across the dashboard, comparisons, and reports straight away.
Test
- 1
Check the live preview
Before saving, watch the Preview card at the top of the page. As you change the date format, time format, or timezone, the sample (based on Jan 31, 2026 at 2:05:09 PM) updates instantly — confirming your selection looks right.
- 2
Confirm it applies elsewhere
After saving, open the dashboard or any comparison and check that dates and times now match the format and timezone you chose.
Open dashboard - 3
Adjust any time
If something does not read the way you expected, return to this page, tweak the options, and save again. You can change these preferences as often as you like.
Tips
- These settings only affect how dates and times are displayed to you — they do not change the actual recorded times of any comparison.
- Choosing your real timezone makes "how long ago" labels and timestamps line up with your local clock.
