How Pixel Points work
What each action costs, so there's no guesswork
How our pricing works
Most visual testing tools bill per snapshot, where a snapshot is counted per screen, per browser, per viewport. Forty pages across two browsers and three viewports becomes 240 billable snapshots for a single run — so the bill grows faster than your coverage, and teams end up testing less to control it.
PixellPeep uses Pixel Points instead. You spend points on the work you actually do — a comparison, a bulk run, an AI explanation — so cost tracks usage rather than multiplying with every extra browser or breakpoint you want to cover. Plans are published openly with a free tier, and you can start without talking to sales.
What every plan includes
- All six comparison algorithms, selectable per screen.
- All six visualization modes for reviewing differences.
- Native SDKs for Playwright, Cypress and Puppeteer, plus a REST API and CLI.
- Centrally stored baselines, so no screenshots live in your git repository.
- Noise controls — anti-aliasing tolerance, ignore regions and a sensitivity slider.
Billing and currency
Plans are billed monthly or yearly. Customers in India can pay in INR through Razorpay using UPI, net banking or cards; international customers are billed in USD through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, and the free tier stays free — there is no trial that quietly converts into a paid plan.
Pricing questions
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free tier covers basic visual regression testing with no credit card required, which is enough to wire PixellPeep into a CI pipeline and see how it behaves on your own screens.
What is a Pixel Point?
A Pixel Point is the unit of usage. Each action — running a comparison, a bulk CSV run, or an AI-powered diff explanation — costs a set number of points, listed in the table above so you can estimate a month before committing.
Do I have to talk to sales?
No. Pricing is published and signup is self-serve. Enterprise plans are available if you need invoicing, custom limits or specific compliance requirements.
What happens if I run out of points?
Comparisons pause rather than silently billing you more. You can top up or move to a higher plan, so an unexpected spike in test volume never becomes an unexpected invoice.
